What would Steve Jobs have to say if he was alive today?
-
On the one year anniversary of his death, and as we mourn a get visionary, I wonder what would Steve Jobs would have to say about the current state of Apple Inc... Per: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19834594 It's a year after Steve Jobs died. So, what has changed? We haven't seen a shocking new product or rethink of something that exists, like when the iPhone came out of Steve Jobs' pocket. Apple press conferences aren't quite as interesting. The tech press is looking for signs of vision from other companies, including Microsoft. I hear from Apple team members that working at Apple is a bit easier, but also that they miss the chaos and excitement that Steve Jobs could cause. Apple has gotten even more profitable, but those profits raise new questions because they were built on top of work that Jobs did. Can Tim Cook capture new markets the way Jobs did?

Media companies all over the world are in a search for ground breaking news. They want headlines that standout, irrespective of how many facts they suppress in that process. Points quoted out by BBC ignore a number of facts to magnify Apple's success. Mac was released in 1984 iPod was released in 2001 iPhone in 2007 iPad in 2010 There was plenty of time between releasing our ground breaking products, with an exception with iPad cos technically iPad was created before iPhone. Any company will need time for invention. It's foolish to demand it. The world should be ready to conceive that invention and to use it. Don't get into the hype created by media. Let things flow naturally. -Steve

Probably something about how he would have wished he would have had more time and is disappointed in people wasting theirs in guessing what he would have done or said had he still been around.
