Is there a good website for public domain images?

What is the website that allows you to dissect/replace elements/text/images in a "live playground" right on the page with no coding knowledge whatsoever? (I used the site a few years ago, but can't remember what it was now). Fairly simple domain name if I remember correctly.

Are you talking about a CMS? If so, then Concrete5 matches your description. You can find out more about it here: http://www.concrete5.org.

w3schools is a massively informational site with 'try it now' sections on all their pages to let you play with whatever the specific concept is. Virtually all open source web technologies are represented here. Example: HTML5 http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

Try http://jsfiddle.net or simply use development tools for your favourite browser.
