I started an online website (www.rumediafiend.com) what is the best way to get a lot of traffic to it, and keep people coming back to it?

    There are two ways to bring traffic to your website: 1. TO BRING PEOPLE IN: Provide compelling content that people can't easily get anywhere else. Then they will come back and bring their friends. It's not 1995 anymore. There are too many sites chasing too few people so the content has to be interesting. 2. AVOID PUTTING PEOPLE OFF. At the same time you need to make sure that it is easy to use, works in different formats and doesn't have any issues with spam, ads, popups, frivolous registrations and everything else reasonable people do not like. Any trick that drives traffic will not be sustainable because if you don't get 1 and 2 right even a mention on primetime TV isn't going to deliver lasting success.
