What are the less commercialized hill stations near rishikesh with nice scenic beauty?

What are some good hill stations to travel to, for 2 days biking trip from Delhi?

  • I've traveled several Himalayan hill stations so far but never on a bike. Two options that have been suggested to me are: 1. Delhi - Chandigarh - Shimla - kufri 2. Delhi - Rishikesh - Lansdowne Can anyone who has done a biking trip to either of the above places share their experience please? I should mention that one of the reasons for choosing a hill station is prepping up for a bike trip to Leh, Laddakh soon.

See you have 2 options: 1.Go to Kasauli and stay at.There are very good places around.You can easily spend a day exploring.Also,you can always ask the locals(sunset point,monestry etc are few). 2 Or you can choose Delhi-Kasauli -Kufri-Shimla. You said that you haven't done a bike trip,so I will suggest you to choose opt:http://1.As it is yours 1st bike trip you shouldn't make it much complicated.If you haven't been in Kasauli you sholuld definitely choose it,http://it.It's the best hill station around(nearest) and a lot better than Shimla.Also,there's nothing like biking( cage-free). P.S- had implimented both opt already. (Back pain is a reality).
