Does your marketing manager understand what A/B Testing means?

I think you could pick any profession, then pick something you'd be SURE they would know, and there would be tons of folks who would disappoint. Marketing is no different. Honestly it's a odd question. Does the marketing team within my company know what A/B testing is? Yes. Does every marketing manager know what it is? Of course not. Does that mean they shouldn't be marketing managers? Depends on their specific role within their specific company. I'd assume that folks who specialize in non-digital marketing would be less likely, and those focused online would be more likely.Surely there are plenty of marketing folks who throw around buzzwords just to sound in-the-know. I'm sure I've done that myself, then later performed some frantic Google searches to figure it out. A/B testing specifically is pretty self explanatory, and I would bet that many non-marketing folks could figure out what it means just by thinking about the phrase. Something like SEO, however, is much more involved and is probably more likely to be a subject matter in which a marketer would exaggerate their knowledge.
