What does it feel like to lose your friends over a break-up with someone?
-
Just like if you both were friends before, got into a relationship, then broke up, and parted ways badly(means never wanted to see his/her face ever). How does it feel like to lose a loved one and losing your friends over this.

Answer:
ghastly Now this is where friendship really counts. Friends aren't just for lending money and accompanying you for movies but for lending a helping hand in times of crisis. Reading your post suggests you screwed real bad with your friends in order to entice your S.O when you were in that relationship. We realize a friends' importance when we are neck deep in shit and there's no way to get outta that situation just like we pray to god when push comes to shove. Screwing up with friends isn't incorrigible, one can always make up with them with an apology. I'm pretty sure your friends would understand the situation, will yell at you for being an arse but finally receive you with open arms.

Well, it feels terrible initially. I introduced my ex to my group of friends. They all got pretty close to him, and it was all fine. One fine day, nay, night, he breaks up with me. And well, I was devastated. I get emotionally attached, so. I also tend to withdraw into my shell, that is stay alone for a while to heal myself. So I did that. Later I see that my friends and my ex bonded really well during that time. Needless to say I was pretty uncomfortable hanging out with them. So yeah, I lost my friends. But hey, on a positive note, I made loads of new friends, who are awesome. I am happy now :) Another incident is this. I got into a relationship with my friend of 10 years. And things didn't work out, long distance and all that, so we had to break up. For around 2 years after the break up, he never spoke to me, it felt really bad. I wondered if I threw away 10 years of friendship just like that. But then again, after 2 years, we spoke, patched things up. We are not that close again, but I still talk to him. It does feel horrible losing the people you once loved- be it friends or boyfriends/ girlfriends. But know this, people come and go. It is inevitable. You will make loads of new friends :)
