Does Adblock Plus filter out featured images of WordPress?
-
Adblock Plus has a built-in filter that hides images with the string name including "-300x250". The featured images on my WordPress site seem to happen to be assigned the suffix; the images don't appear on a browser installing Adblock Plus. I'm not sure if it is only me or it happens to all who use Adblock Plus.

Answer:
It's not WordPress featured images, per se. 300x250 is a common ad size, and your theme happens to use that same size. AdBlock doesn't know what is a "featured" image and what isn't -- that comes down to the theme.
