CFO of startups. The CFOs usually get a good salary, especially the ones who have been through the IPO process. The get enough equity in the start ups that with even two modest success, they can retire. Which is actually great for other finance people, since it creates more openings. Many CEOs, chief technical people, marketing, etc. keep going for the next big thing, and start another company. CFOs seem to know that when the trolley gets to their destination, they get off the trolley.

sales jobs. If you can close, you can make tons of money - maybe $200k: $80k to $120k base and $60k to $80k in commissions. The pros make a lot more. With a start-up you can't expect to make much money at the start, but after a couple of years the real "rain-makers" might make up to half a million. When the start-up gets ready to go public / become a real company, they will revise the comp. plan to cut the sale forces income down to the $200k to $250k at plan level.

Well I do so much creative work for tech startups that I suffer from chronic exhaustion and my eyeballs are falling out and the pay is pretty good (although I'm a contractor). (And by "creative work" I mean ux design, presentations, branding work, visual design, illustration, etc.)
