College and NCAA Football: Is there a way to predict what time 'TBA' games are likely to be before the times are announced?

• I understand that networks bid on rights to games of national interest in the 1-2 weeks before the games occur.  I am wondering how much variation there actually is in the outcomes on this, or whether it's possible to predict the time of the game (based on the teams involved, when specific networks tend to slot games, etc.) further in advance.

This allows both the leagues and networks to capitalize on surprise teams and feature them in the prime slots. For example in the 2013 season the early play of Northwestern and Ohio State caused ESPN and the Big Ten to bring GameDay to Evanston and put the top broadcast team of Musberger/Herbstreit on the game call in prime time.
