What are the best ways to get a personal cognitive/vocational aptitude assessment?

What I am especially interested in is finding hidden talents/aptitudes--it would need to be something more wide-ranging than a standard IQ test. Is there a specific test or service that is recommended for this?

I had the Meyers-Briggs test done for me as part of company on-boarding processes and it was focused more on my character including work preferences like individual/team-focus among other things.

Sometimes the best way to find hidden talent is not to take a test but to try something completely foreign to you. Asking your friends/family (especially your mom) will also help you figure out where you have some hidden talent.
