What do longtime Android users who convert to iOS think of iOS?

I have had Android for more than 3 years. I have also been doing development on it. When I bought my first iPad few months ago, the first thing I noticed was much better user experience than Android. As as a developer, iOS device frustrate me. I've had a chance to play with Google Nexus 5 and if I compare it to an iOS device, I'll happily go back to Android now.

I was exclusively Android until I got a 4S with work last year.  I thought that it did very little compared to Android.  I hated the idea of having to use iTunes with it to sync data, and I rarely used it for media or games because of the small screen.  iPad is a bit better, but still feels like an open app drawer and whilst my Android tablet is clearly an inferior bit of hardwear, I just prefer what I can have at my immediate fingertips with that OS. I can't imagine ever going over to iOS for personal use and once my current iMac is obsolete (i.e. Yosemite) I will probably wholly de-Applify my life for the first time in about 20 years.
