How can I get into the film industry?

Telugu Film Industry: Where and how can I get the latest film shooting details in and around Hyderabad?

  • I want to see film shootings. I know that regular film shootings will go on in Ramoji Film City, in and around Hyderabad. But If I want to go on Weekends or some specific dates, where can I get the Information. Also consider a different situation from the above: I want to see film shootings in Hyderabad any time, I can allot some days for that, how can I approach and see. Quorans who are localites, who have that feasibility and already in and around of the industry, can you make that  arrangement as favor for me. Anywhere in India will also be fine. Local people who know please answer.

  • Answer:

You're asking for some sort of registry on what film is shooting where at what time.  Such a registry doesn't exist. Such information is not secret, but there is absolutely no necessity to consolidate this information for anybody in the industry. But if you want to be kept updated, get hold of a Line Producer or Production Manager who is well connected, not a newbie.  UPMs always know what film is under production and where the shooting is going on.

Best way for this to head to ramoji and ask the security guards there, make sure you know the local language ;)

Visit Ramoji film city on a weekday. Don't gp on Sunday, There is high chance that some or the other shootings will be taking place.
