First, the list of all Chief ministers of State of Andhra Pradesh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chief_Ministers_of_Andhra_Pradesh   Let me make my list in particular order with the influence they had on progress of state of Andhra Pradesh..   1) Nandamuri Tarakarama rao : Every telugite has to be fan of this guy. No politico ever tinkers with him.   What he did which had a great impact : 1) Removed Patel patwari system . It is exactly the fuedal system which was prevalent in post independencent period. 2) He developed all the systems now exist in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. 3) Made changes to Hindu Succession law so that women also get half the ancestral property. I doubt if any other state had it then or even now. 4) Panchayat raj system was followed in his tenure long before it was nationwide. 5) He made hyderabad beautiful.(Buddha statue, tank bund etc).  Communal riots didnt happen in Hyderabad only after he came to power. 6) Telugu Ganga project. Half of chennai actually drinks krishna river water. this also helped Anantapur district to come out of severe drought. 6) TDP is the only party which had a proper cadre structure. For other initiatives he took . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Ministership_of_N._T._Rama_Rao 2) Chandra babu Naidu - Made Hyderabad and state of Andhra pradesh a role model for all the e-reforms we are seeing in country now. - Sucessfully brought back the power sector on track ruined by earlier governments.First time, Ap was in surplus and was selling power  to other states. -  Water sheds and water harvesting . All the fruits of these initiatives are enjoyed by subsequent governments. - Roads and other infrastructure were upgraded ,par above national standards. - Ap became Engineering student hub of India. - Master plan Vision 2020 . ( How do you think YSR approved and sanctioned 1 lakh crore of irrigation projects within 6 months after coming to power .Naidu did all ground work ) . - Dwacra groups for women empowerment. Addendum : Narendra Modi said CBN is his inspiration for reforms. 3) P V Narsimha Rao His tenure as Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh is well remembered even today for his land reforms and strict implementation of land ceiling acts in Telangana region .  K Rosaiah Well, this man got to be complemented with  atleast consolation prize for bringing the state back from financial bankruptcy and getting it on track. Special mention :  YS Rajasekhar Reddy  for making maoists redundant in AP. He can be included in the list only if the good he had done was atleast little more than the bad he did . Whatever he did could be done in a better and efficient way without wasting tax payers money.

Vamsi Tellakula

I'm not an expert on this, as I'm not from that state. However, given that somebody spent 510 credits for this, I did some research. Two of the best were: PV Narasimha Rao - for presiding over land reforms and social inclusion in the traditional agrarian state. Sadly his rule was cut short by a President's rule due to the Telengana clashes. Chandrababu Naidu - for modernizing the state and bringing the fast paced development in technology. NTR was successful in convincing people, but I don't see any major evidence of him doing anything good to his state or the country.

My opinion There is only One CM  who is far away from comparison from others who ruled this state that is  N CHANDRA BABU NAIDU, I dont want compare his ruling with anyone & i  will just state some of his good work which he has done for AP state development 1)IT HUB(Hi tech city , microsoft comming to india etc.) 2)interational airport in hyderabad 3) IIT ,IIM , BUSINESS SCHOOL'S ETC 4)Infrastructure ( 16 lane ring road) 5)EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS etc..    Some critics may say that he only developed Hyderabad  but we should understand one thing he developed that particular city because it is capital of  AP,and if capital city is developed rest would  defiantly  follow  its foot steps

Kotagiri Shravan

There is no answer to this question.because there are four or five strong chief ministers who contributed to the development of state but they are not recongised for their efforts. 1)N.Sanjiva Reddy -for consolidating administration in the state since he inherited Madras government pattern from andhra state and Nizam government from Hyderabad state(telengana).many industrial units established in hyderabad during his tenure. 2)Kasu Brahmananda reddy: development of indusrial infrastructure around hyderabad by bringing public sector industrial units and defence industries to the state.successfully kept the state united despite telengana movement and suppression of Naxalism. 3)JalagamVengal Rao:for administrative efficiency, for completion of Nagarjuna sagar project, for tribal upliftment, for attracting public sector investments into the state. 4)NChandrababunaidu: for consolidation of state finances, reforms in governance, starting silicon valley revolution in Hyderabad, developing AP as brand name outside the world. a word on NTR,though I don't want to comment on others' views but I have to set the record straight. NTR should only be credited for ending power monopoly of congress in the state.the legacy of NTR is He destroyed the revenue administrative system by ending patel-patwari system.he has not planned any transition to new adminstrative set up. the land records in villages were irretrievably destroyed with his adhoc changes.Today the government is still dark about government lands in many villages. He inherited a Finance and power surplus state and he left the state in finance and power deficit through his populist measures. He started many projects for popular consumption and forget to allot funds for them. He destroyed the AP administrative machinery with his arbitrary interference and appointments.the culture of politicians interfering and threatening government officials started in his regime. the criminalization of politics  started with him only.up to that period local strongmen used to support party candidates, they never used to fight elections.

Viswanatha Reddy

1) Neelam sanjeeva reddy 2)Kasu brahmanandareddy 3)NTR 4)YSR 5)CBN first two cms are developed and constructed SAGAR and SREESAILAM projects which is giving life to crores of people in Nalgonda, prakasam, krishna, guntur etc.(Nearly 1 crore acres are under Sagar and srisailam) agriculture is backbone of ap's development. NTR has implemented good schemes like ban of liquor, 2rs/KG rice etc. YSR had implemented 108,free current etc which has gain immense popularity in mass. CBN has invested a lot in IT sector no other cm has encourages like cbn.

Janardhana Reddy

Since I am born in 1984, the earliest CM of Andhra Pradesh that I can remember is Chenna Reddy garu. All that I remember of his rule was that he was a very open-minded person. Next is the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu, who has actually given a face for the Telugu pride! He has reformed the state in many ways, most significantly binding its people together with its mother tongue - Telugu, barring everything - age, gender, class, cast, religion, etc. The third CM of Andhra Pradesh in my memory line is Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu. If NTR garu had brought the state the, then severely lacking, national recognition, CBN garu had catapulted the state into, the much needed, international recognition. In CBN's rule, everything seemed to be booming in the state, it was all set to become the silicon icon of the world! He was so much ahead of the thought process of the rest of his peers (read, opposition leaders), that they thought simply ignored AP's gold mine - Agriculture! This is absolutely false; remember, Janmabhoomi programme? Then came the unfortunate defeat in his regime, which still has an impact on coming back to the hot-seat. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy garu, had focussed on the agricultural reforms for the state, but not really into its fruition (in my opinion). The rest of all have almost no impact on the state; if any, one of them (read, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy garu) has deteriorated its development and probably pushed it into oblivion. In my honest opinion, there are two best CMs of Andhra Pradesh: NTR garu and CBN.

Sri Hemanth Prakhya

Dr Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy is the best CM of AP.    Well developed state with his best policies which were following by many other states. Ex.108 ambulance service. *Naxalism went down which is indirect benefit for many sectors. *Focused on agriculture sector by constructing many reservoirs *Improved Industrializations with SEZs *Infrastructure growth was outstanding. *As a doctor professionally understood situation of poor people health and started Aarogya sri. *IT sector growth during his rule was highest .etc... ***Never ever made fake promises .
