cleaned brick planters with muriatic acid, got white film
-
I cleaned my brick planters with a strong solution of muriatic acid, parts worked will, but one major section turned white with a film. How do I remove the film? The advice I read is to use muriatic acid to remove the film, but that seems to be causing the film on this one section.

Answer:
Was the section different to start? Will the "film" resist friction? Inside where the plant had been? Maybe glove up and give it a vigorous abrasion with some gravel or a mix of rock salt and/or sand?
