App for alternate-side parking regulations, street by street, in NYC?

  • Is there an app or a web site that will tell you what the alternate-side regulations for each block in the city? (And if there are meters or) not. I need to make a trip in a car to Soho and then midtown. I'm wondering if there is a app that will let me plan my trip so that [this is an ideal scenario and I know it's unlikely] I could drive to Broadway and Houston on a Wednesday and catch the tail end of the 8:30-10AM Wednesday No Parking blocks, then drive to 58th and 5th and catch the tail end of the 10-11:30 Wednesday No Parking blocks, and then be home for the tail end of the 11:30-1 Wednesday No Parking blocks. Barring that, an app that tells me where there's metered parking. Does this exist?

Thanks, 1970s Antihero--I saw that, but the pages (both the map and the text-based) don't seem to work for me. The map page is blank and the text-based one won't let me enter cross streets. (Should have said that in my question.)

http://primospot.com/ (RIP) used to do this exactly as you specify, and has recently ceased operation. The DOT website is not really a good replacement, and I haven't found anything equivalent. Best Parking only lists garages, not street parking.

Hmm. I just opened up the best parking app (thinking perhaps you had a new version?) and right at the top of the map screen, you can seacrh bu lots or on-street parking. The on-street parking screen offers you a guide for frfee and metered parking.
