  Anyone can submit a movie script, but keep in mind that studios, producers, directors, etc. get unsolicited scripts all the time, and the odds of an unsolicited script being bought are very, very slim. In many cases unsolicited scripts are returned unread, since the last thing studios want to deal with are lawsuits from people claiming their idea was stolen. If you do submit a script, make sure it's formatted properly, a reasonable length (the rule of thumb is one page of script equals one minute of film, so no one will look at a 500 page movie script), and be sure to enclose a self addressed envelope with enough postage on it so that the script will be returned to you.
