Microsoft Outlook 2010: calendar reminders via email
-
Does this Visual Basic script do what it says? I use the calendar in Microsoft Outlook 2010, and would like to be notified of my appointments via email. Outlook doesn't appear to include this option, but I found http://www.lehsys.com/2010/12/microsoft-outlook-2010-how-to-get-email-reminders/ - I can use the Developer tab in Outlook to run it. The thing is, I don't know anything about Visual Basic - or coding in general. I have no reason to mistrust the code I found, but I'm aware of the potential dangers of trusting random advice found online. So, can my more trusted fellow MeFites weigh in and tell me if this Visual Basic script does what it says?
