Are there any former teachers out there who are now nurses?

Do registered nurses really make a lot of money, esp compared to teachers?

  • I mean, with the vacations, hours, etc, I think teachers make more than nurses, since they work fewwer hours and less intense work. Nurses have to deal with beign exposed to sickneses, lifting patients, etc.

I dated a nurse wow 25 years ago and she was making $55 k back then. but teachers work far less for that much today. + they get pension payed for by us the tax payer and benefits payed by the tax payer. So teacher do better here in NJ.
