Obamabot loses his CFO job over his video of berating a Chick Fil-A drivethru clerk. Alas, someone standing up for working people?

A few thoughts on this video: First, I don't think Adam Smith should have lost his job over this. He was a jerk to her, but he didn't do or say anything that warranted termination, in my opinion. He's kind of a wimp for picking on an unprepared 16 year old giving him a free glass of water. But hey, it's a free country. He's entitled to his opinion. I thought the girl was a class act. If I was the manager of that store, I would give her a nice raise. She made the company look so good. She didn't lose her cool. She could have been a jerk back to him, but she took the high road (unlike Mr. Smith). HOWEVER, in this day and age, you can express your opinion, but if someone else doesn't like it, you could pay a heavy price for it, unfortunately. I think that violates the spirit of the First Amendment. The lesson to be learned from this is if you're going to go and be a jerk to someone else and spout your constitutionally-protected political opinion, don't film it. If it is embarrassing to your employer, you might be out of a job.

i agree with everything he said and don't think he was berating anyone. he didn't direct anything bad toward her. at first blush i wouldn't say he should've lost his job over it.

I bet that this is another great 1/4 of a story. nice you should try and show us your tiny baubles and tell us they are diamonds, less than normal brain, er uh, more 2 be there.

How can you have a CFO or CEO thats never worked a day in his life, now if he had any background and experience at anything besides just milking school (like marxists do) then I might have a little respect for Obamabot.
