Ok,this a serious question,can anyone tell me how 2 catch an abandoned cat,it's abandoned at walmart,and need ideas on how 2 get it?

Call animal control, they do it all day.

Since your name is bloodylilcorpse, what do you plan to do with it if you catch it? And how do you know it is abandoned?

If its not fully feral, you can try a cat trap. Take him home and try to bring him back to normal. It does not seem to take too long for them to get really antsy about people, takes lot longer to get them feeling safe and friendly again. Worth doing if you have the patience.

Pick up a raccoon trap. Place some food inside the trap. Cat will go in to trap and set up off the lever which in turn will close the door of the cage. Problem solved.

You need a live trap. You can often acquire a live trap via a lending program from either animal control, The Humane Society or a local rescue group. Google cat rescue groups in your area and make some calls. Most are happy to get a live trap to you. If you are feeding the cat it's likely used to your scent. You don't say, does the cat come close to you or interact with you even from a distance when you feed it? Start by feeding as usual with the trap sitting near the food. The next time make the food very tempting and put the food immediately in front of the trap. The next time you feed put the food inside the trap. You ought to be able to catch the kitty this way. If you are concern, live traps will do the cat no harm. You can collect the cat in the trap and place it inside your car with the kitty inside it to transport it. Of course, you should ask the folks at Walmart if you can use a live trap in the property but if you are going to be present when the trap is down or you think they won't be cooperative a little sneaking wouldn't hurt.

This is Shadow, my walmart cat! I was finally able to get her about a month ago. I got my store manager to call animal control to get her. The animal control wouldn't come do it with the management's permission, so that's why I had to ask the store manager. But anyways, I got her and she's really sweet and loves to play and be loved. :D

I have a bad habit of collecting strays. I just bring food, treats and water, sit, wait and meow. They will come if they can resume to house cat life. And for all of those reading that think I'm a crazy cat lady, I find them homes elsewhere. ;)
