How to stop a PC game from lagging?

Speed up my pc will stop video lagging?

  • I recently downloaded Avatar: The Extended Edition in HD to my hard drive. It is absolutely beautiful quality but a rather large file (15gb to be precise) It actually runs pretty well but every now and then it freezes and takes a minute to continue playing. Is there anything I can do to stop it lagging like that (oh and something that won't cost me an arm and a leg :P)

    Try lowering the resolution on your video card. It's probably not up to par to play that video.

you all ready down loaded it right ? its in your system?? to me it sounds like you need a better player and maybe you could go off the net when you play the movie and maybe some of your running programs should be shut down but first try VLC player its free through cnet/downloads http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html?tag=mncol;1
