3rd Arkansas Republican supports slavery 'If Slavery Were So Godawful, Why Didn't Jesus Condemn It?' What's going on there?

The entire state of Arkansas has a combined average IQ of 85. Anyone who has visited the place understands: the smart folks move away, the rest stay and swelter and swat mosquitoes and speak in tongues.

I haven't read this link yet, Wynper...but my opinion on this could be summed up as follows: If the individual arguing the merits of slavery were the one who was enslaved, along with all his/her family, how would that individual's point of view differ? :):)

THAT is what "right-wing" REALLY means. As kooky, racist, divisive and authoritarian as the left wing. Lincoln, the first Republican president, a Marxist? Yeah, okay. When people say there are racist nutsacks out there, this is who they're really talking about, not the Tea Party, not the GOP, not Libertarians, not people who want to simplify the tax code, not people who want the government to stop spending more than it takes in; and when liberals use the word 'racist' for every possible critique of Obama (as long as it comes from someone less liberal than they) THIS is what flies under the radar and starts stinking up legitimate political avenues. Now the media can report on this and they don't have anything appropriate to call it because they called typical American citizens who just want to live their lives and not have to deal with all this political crap, they were called hateful and racist and whatever else. The mainstream media has shoved the conversation so far to the left that they have no idea what the real center is. This is what a disaster the Obama administration and its enablers have been for our culture and political discourse. You push shit down a tube, and what comes out the other end? Jesus just got crucified for his actions by the biggest slave owning nation at his time. He had more important issues to deal with.
