Many coldblooded vertebrates have no definite lifespan. Usually disease or in the case of this poor critter, predation kills them off. How it was determined it is 200 years old is beyond me and I am too lazy to type into that blog. It is not poisonous. It appears to be a rock cod.

Jesus! Those things are nasty and I hear that their the most poisonous animals in the world. The worst part of it is that it's not their poison that kills you in the traditional sense, it simply fills your body with so much pain that you can't stand to move - meaning you can't make yourself swim - so what you actually die of is drowning. I hope he made sure it was de-fanged before he stuck his fingers in it's mouth... :p edit: Oh no wait, he doesn't have his fingers in it's mouth does he? He's holding it up beneath it's lip.
