Well he's right, but as evident by most of Rupert Murdoch's tweeting he's got absolutely no idea what's going on. The test for Romney is whether or not he's going to actually be able to gain some ground on Obama in the areas that actually matter. He can't let July play out the same way that June did. June started off with an underwhelming jobs report, but Obama was able to put Romney in a box with his brilliant immigration directive, and of course two very good SCOTUS rulings, and his lead in the swing states actually increased for the second time in two months. He's leading the way in most of the swing states.

He may be an odious, evil old twat, but that doesn't mean he's wrong. After all, it's not like he hasn't had enough experience in elections (though mostly in undermining them), grooming future national leaders, or keeping them in place once he's got them there.
