Exchange differing views here. Right? Why would anyone be allowed to personally attack and name call a member for differing views?

Freedom of speech. I realize it is becoming more cliche to say this, but the truth is when we have the first amendment protecting our right to say what we wish, then of course it will not be infringed upon as some might like. However, there is a such thing as censorship. As it relates to AB we have CL's and other AB staff that censor or moderate what is said. If users argue and it leads to insults and disruption then it is likely to result in the removal of content. Personal attacks are only allowed to a degree depending on the lack of harshness between users and the the type of dialogue given. I on the contrary, support positive and intelligent dialogue. I will not trade insults or indulge in disrespectful behavor.

How rigid or relaxed things are here is up to management. So long as people respect each other's differences, there should be no name calling. There may be some sharp language if the furst poster submits something obviously incendiary, but mere differences of opinion should focus on the topic only and people should remember that differences of opinion are often not harmful or that big of an issue.
