This is general enough to incorporate just about any type of business growth job, but also so vague you do need a specialty. What are you interested in career-wise? What do you wish to be doing yourself? Do you like to micro manage? Do you like to see yourself as a head of a department? What? Do you like to give advice? Do you like to be independent? Those are kind of important considerations that will help narrow your quest.

Well, of all the possible business degrees, marketing is worst of all. In terms of what you will get out of the degree, my bet is that it will get you a job as a sales clerk at JC Penny's. And you will work part time only since that keeps the company from having to provide you any benefits. The best business degrees are economics, then accounting. The really good jobs start with the advanced degrees in those 2 fields. All the others require a rich daddy.
