Bad Review Threatened?

A fine, bad credit score for writing a negative review, it happened to this lady, have you written a negative review that backfired?

  I've never written any kind of review anywhere Jen...good, bad or indifferent. I have given my opinion about stuff to friends and family but that's as far as it goes. That reminds though of years ago when Oprah Winfrey said something negative about beef. I think she said she'd never eat another hamburger but I'm not exactly sure. She was sued by the beef industry and that's when she hired Dr. Phil McGraw to help her get out of that mess. I think he was instrumental in helping to pick a sympathetic jury. They have 'jury' readers who either give a prospective juror a thumbs up or thumbs down. She was a very popular figure. If she chose a book for her book club it was an instant success and usually at the top of book lists almost overnight. So she did have a lot of influence on people. She won and the beef industry backed down. Talk about freedom of speech being attacked! That was a perfect example I think of a frivolous lawsuit. :)
