  first enter the code TEAMPLAYER. that is the code you use to unlock franchise or enter THEWORKS to unlock all of the modes once you enter one of the codes there should be a icon on the main menu that says classic modes. click there and select franchise. once you get into franchise you do training camp. (you dont have to if you dont want to) if you chose not to hit plus and it will say advance to preseason. click yes, then go to rosters and hit trade player and you can chose the team you trade on the left and wich player you trade from that team. !
