Does Triond actually work?

Do you work becuase you actually want to work and contribute and/or provide something or do you work just so that you have money?

  • I'm trying to get a job becuae I have to in order to get what I need and want. My mom says that "the universe" is not allowing me to find a job because I don't really want to work; I just want money. She says that wanting to work is important to employers because if a person doesn't want to work they will probably not put forth any efford in their job and wind up fired.

Attitude might play a role in you finding a job. Interviewers can sense if you're really interested in getting the job or just going through the motions with applying. Your Mom has a point for sure ... But I don't agree with the "universe" not wanting you to find a job .. you're the one pulling the strings on how you act. If you really want a job .. you have to sell yourself and convince employers that they would be smart to hire you. There are plenty of applicants for every job ... and they will certainly choose the person they think will be the best addition to their company. If you don't want to work .. it will show.
