• My daughter is in an organization that host a Sadie Hawkins dance. The tickets cost $90. per couple. Attendace has been poor. The adult director of the group wants to keep with tradition and not allow boys to go without a girl inviting them. The girls would like to allow single boys to participate. Also, a scholorship is given with the profit. Should the dance be open to anyone wishing to attend and give a larger scholarship or stick to the tradition of a Sadie Hawkins dance. Remind you, that Sadie Hawkins was a homely fictional character in the comic strip Li’l Abner created by Al Capp in 1934
