Bang your head against the wall, huff some paint, do some whip-its, get your brain nice and mushy then you won't have any problem arguing for gun control! :)

Easy. Look at any city, state, or country that put in gun control. Compare the murder rates before and after. Guess what? They went up. Not once have they gone down. That's all your essay needs to be. Alternatively you can pick apart the numbers the gun-control nuts use to try to justify their irrational beliefs. But why bother? You can demonstrate that gun control doesn't lower the murder rate and usually results in it going up slightly. That's the end of the story right there, and you don't have to let them drag you down into any other argument about 30 round magazines or things like that.

I think you should do your own homework. Start with research. Don't use wiki. This might be fun and you might learn something too; for every set of facts that fit your premise look for and include a counter argument then challenge it.
