    Hi Guys ,,not quite the full answer but have managed to track down the weight of 1954- 1967 Volkswagen Kombi-Camper vans ,,, so assuming they must all be similar ,,though that should really be confirmed if its a legal issue ,,Weight of 1954-1967 is 1105 kgs ,,and is on the site of www.classicandperformancecar.com which I would like to extend my grateful thanks to ,,Thank you guys ,, David Hi Guys ,, Further to the above information,,I have now also found suggested weights in an older Volkswagen Van Manual from 1979 ,,it suggests an unladen weight of 1495 kgs ,, and a Vehicle Capacity Weight of 755 kgs ,,and finally a Gross vehicle weight of 2250 kgs or in Imperial ,,,lbs ,,,Unladen Weight 3296 lbs ,,a Vehicle Capacity Weight of 1665 lbs ,,and A gross Vehicle Weight of 4961 lbs ,,the above information was obtained from a site called http:// the samba.com/vw/archives/manuals/ and I would like to express my total gratitude to people like these ,,who help make our world a better place by helping provide reliable free information ,,that we can all benefit from ,,thanks again ..
