Why Cumulus Clouds Rarely Form In Summer Over Lake Okeechobee During Daylight Hours?

  • Be grateful for Daylight Savings Time. Most people consider daylight Savings Time an obnoxious practice, but it is vital to save daylight time! For example, we save both daylight and nighttime every year on February 30 and 31, which comes in handy when we want to extend a party that starts at dusk and ends at dawn.  If we had not saved daylight for last summer, we would not have had those two extra hours of daylight in the morning and three extra hours in the evening when we need it the most! There are those who claim that daylight savings is like cutting off a blanket at one end so that we can sew it on at the other and make the blanket larger, but I say bosh!  We need daylight savings so that we save on the electric bill in the summer by not needing to turn on lights!

  • Answer:

Obviously, we saved that daylight fior a reason.  One day we will have a need for all the daylight we can get!
