Is there an easy way to extract audio from a DVD?

How Do I Extract A Song From A DVD?

  • There is a song I really like from one of my yoga dvd's. It is called 'Ra Ma Da Sa 2' by Maya Fiennes. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to see if it was available on iTunes or Amazon to download. But unfortunately it wasn't. (Her other 2 cd's were, but I already own them.) The cd that the track it is on is called Mayaspace, and I only found it on Amazon where I would have to buy the full album and they'd ship it to my house. I just want that one song. (The song was on her official website to download but it's based out of the United Kingdom so that would be a problem as I live in the States.) I looked on youtube as well and I found it but it was by different artists. I now ask, is there any way I can extract the song from my dvd? The song is 6 minutes 14 seconds long. I found a freeware program to use called Free DVD MP3 Ripper made by Jodix. However I have no idea what I'm doing. Any help would be great! Thanks! Please no links. I had asked for help on another website and another person gave me a link. I checked it out to download the song but my antivirus software prevented the site from opening. All it was was a ringtone page. Also, with my program, I tried to extract the song, but it didn't work. I entered the start and end times for the song hit start, it showed up but when I went to test it, it showed up as 00:00:00. So that's really a shame.
