Should we get rid of historical museums because they store data that happened long ago? It is should be forgotten?

You shouldn't try to forget history. People need to remember the past. It can be very helpful to us in the future.

Those who forget the past are condemned to relive it. History is full of mistakes from which we can learn. Forgive, certainly: the people who live in countries that committed atrocities in the past bear no responsibility for those atrocities. But do not forget. And your proposal would mean throwing out all of science, which is based on past experiments and observations.

Those who do not learn the lessons of history, are doomed to repeat them. History is very important, it informs science, morals, politics and teaches us how to become better human beings, by not committing the genocide and torture our ancestors inflicted on each other, it demonstrates the futility of religion and what happens when men try to set themselves up as gods. History is fascinating and essential to the development of our species.

I'm sure progressive liberal would go for that, and re-write their own version of history

Correction on question: It should be forgotten? (Mistakes are easy to make using an iPhone. Sometimes I don't catch them until it is too late. But I do hate to make mistakes.)
