Has anyone had or is anyone having rotator cuff surgery?

going to have arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery. is there anyone who didnt have long term pain

    mine was painful for a month or so -- then little twinges if moved the wrong way for about a year but 18 months later i don't feel any residual effects or pain at all

arthroscopic == not very invasive and i actually had my rotater cuff repaired / my collar bone shortened by an inch / the joint capsule tightened / and a second muscle repaired and i have no pain or limitation of motion -- alot depends on the surgeon and your healing abilities

it may be the surgeon or genetics --- my father also had rotator cuff surgery -- different surgeon -- and did just fine and he was 70 when he had surgery

I don't see how it's not possible to have long term pain from such an invasive surgery.
