The system has become sqewed in the direction of "robber barons".. What AIG is doing may be unethical, but NOBODY ever went to jail for unethical...Since the robber barons OWN this country, they take all they can get...

I think we should follow the law. We own 92% of AIG. That makes us both the plaintiff and the defendant in this case. We lose which ever way it goes. This is one of the problems when you delve into public ownership of private companies. If corporations are people, they are at minimum psychopaths since they are without shame or conscience. Who would expect ethical behavior from a sociopath?

AIG was the most expensive bailout out of all the too big to fail mega banks involved in the collapse.the US Government still owns a large percentage of AIG stock.It take a incredible amount of gall to sue the US over interest on a old overpayment to the Govt.
