I love roasting the seeds after gutting my pumpkins for Jack-o-lanterns , I don't even wash them, I soak them in whatever flavor I want over night, ie: salt, hot sauce and water, etc etc, then slow roast them, makes the house smell sooooooooo yummy. My mother made a pie out of one of the pumpkins one year, WAY WAY too much work so I'll stick to canned. ;-)

My sister in law makes the best home made pumpkin pie from pumpkins in the garden. As for the seeds, we get them out and put them in a strainer to rinse off the slime, pat them dry, then put them on a flat cake pan. Next, we swish some olive oil on them and sea salt, then bake them until slightly browned.

i love pumpkin seeds,, the dry ones,, u munch them during snack time, go together with watermelon seeds

I love dill, I use it on fish, in my potato salad, and you'll always find dill pickles in my fridge ;-)
