What is the best way to start a blog?

What is the best way to start a blog that can go viral or get many subscribers?

  • I have always loved to write and am quite good at it, and blogging would be the way to go for me as I'm a disabled (back problems), single mother who home schools my two minor children. I want to blog and then obtain my own website for this purpose. I'm having a problem deciding what to blog on, I know it should be my passion, which is relationships, and advice as I am the "go too" person for my friends when it comes to advice. However, I'm not sure this type of blog would be a successful blog.
