Becoming a certified nursing assistant?

Are there any companies in the UK willing to higher American certified nursing assistant?

  • I will be starting school to become a certified nursing assistant next year, and I want to move overseas about a year after i'm done. I need to know about work visas, can the companies help me get one? should I look for work before trying to move out there? Also I am working on becoming a physical therapy, if I have these two things under my belt would it help me get work in a hospital? I really need the feedback so please help, thank you.

    I am sure there are - we are always looking for good CNA's. You would do best by working for a yer where you re now now so you can add experience to your resume. Make sure you have a place to live. Maybe you could write the company you are interested in a very good letter which explains what you want to do. You would probably be better off in a hospital than i n a nursing home because you would learn so much more. Do you have any connections and in what part of the country to you want to go?

I went thru the U.K. on my way to Paris 30 years ago and offhandedly mentioned to border control about maybe getting a job and he was suddenly VERY brusque that such an idea was illegal. You'd need the government's permission, so you want to first look for how you even can get that.
