I checked the shop where I go, (they only work on British cars) and he quoted a price of $1190 for parts and labor. The fuel tank needs to be drained and dropped to do the job, that is why it's so costly. Good luck.

The pump is about $150. A repair shop will mark that up to about double that, as they have to absorb warranty costs and they have a yacht payment coming up. Installation is often A LOT, as it's a long, messy, hazardous job that often requires dropping the rear axle, suspension, shocks, struts, driveshaft, up to 14 fuel hoses, lines, and vents. It takes two people, one to do it, the other to catch the falling parts and hold a fire extinguisher. Then doing all that again in reverse. It could easily be $800 in labor.
