Does it hurt to get a tattoo? or how does it feel when you're getting a tattoo?

It hurts but it's bearable.

I am so very sorry for your loss. That sounds very hard and sad. However, there are so many other ways to remember them in a special way. Why not get a painting done of them from a picture? Or perhaps you could get an inscription of their names on a beautiful silver heart pendant that you always wore? You can even get hearts that open and have their pictures inside. A tattoo of all three sounds like a pretty big tattoo, and yes, they burn. I only know that from seeing shows where people get tattoos. They have a hard time with it. Would your dad and brothers want you to suffer that way? They are alive within your heart always, and always they are with you in spirit. I would really re think the tattoo.

I once had it described as sticking a needle into your skin just far enough that you say "ouch" and pull it out - 60 times per second.

I'v only got one tattoo, which is on my shoulder, quite a bony area which is supposed to hurt more than fleshy areas. It dos depend where you are intending to have it, but I really didn't find it all that painful. People have different levels of pain that they can stand though, so what might not hurt me, might hurt you. Think about it long and hard and only have one when you are absolutely certain, because its permanent. :)
