Could I be a model in Korea or Japan?

I've heard it's fairly easy to model in Japan if you're American and not ugly. But I've notice you don't even have to be that attractive to model, as long as your American and tall then it seems fairly easy. But what about South Korea? Is it as easy to be an American and model in South Korea as easy
