What could I design?

What are some cool examples of using design thinking in business process design?

  • Design thinking is talked about in the realm of products , now slowly service design is becoming main stream. Are there cases where design thinking is being used to design business processes?  As requested in the comment , by design thinking I mean " the ability to combine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empathy for the context of a problem, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationality to analyze and fit solutions to the context" - OK tat's not me defining it.. but Wikipedia -  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_thinking.  If that is too long , I am looking for examples where user's/stakeholder's behavioral patterns were analyzed to re-design business processes instead of just looking at process metrics.
