What is the best mobile Instant Messaging Software?

  • What are the best instant messaging software available to add  to the app (iOS, Android, Windows)? We are looking for a Sports Yapper  like messaging capability to add to the app. Jabber D is one solution we  found. Can anybody recommend any other? What would be some  qualifiers/requirements check for such service? This solution has to be  able to pull users together from social mediums and be able to create  groups to chat with. Sports Yapper - allows you to instant message with friends by  inviting them into conversation via your facebook or twitter account. Thank you in advance
