What is way to make tomcat (deployed app) debugged in eclipse?
-
Hi all, I have an (.war) build from eclipse through ant. After i get the war file i separately deploy it to tomcat server. Now i want to debug the application in eclipse. Is it possible , and does it work same as normal ( tomcat and eclipse configuration) if it is possible. Means can i put debug points and do all the same stuff i do. Thanks Jamal

Answer:
You have to configure the tomcat for remote debugging and then in eclipse you can create a remote debug configuration. Here is a step by step guide:http://technicalblogon.blogspot.com/2015/12/remote-debugging-of-tomcat-using-eclipse.html
