Where To Go Instead Of Myp2p?

Is there any field for +1 or college where i can go for chem and bio instead of physics and chem because i'm not so much interested in physics?

  • Are there any fields with 4-5 years study instead of 10-12 years which is usually there in bio fields.....

  • Answer:

Don't give up on Physics just yet. No matter where you go, what field of study you choose, it is always essential and is a prerequisite that you have a foundation course in major fields of science. I hated chemistry in school, I felt liberated when I chose to study Physics but bam! There was chemistry right in the first semester of an Honors Physics course. In engineering, no matter if your major is Computer Science or Mechanical or even Electrical, you have to study Phy, Chem, Math and even Biology in the first year. So there's no escaping Physics just yet. As for your question about courses in Biochemistry, as far as I know you can take up a BSc course in Biochemistry in almost all major universities in India and abroad. But a mere undergraduates degree in a specialized field of science is not enough, so you should be prepared for studying at least till the postgraduate level. After which you'll have ample opportunities to move into research. Also, since you're still in class 11 I would suggest not to streamline your mindset entirely on biochem and keeping your mind open and receptive for the next two years. There's a high probability you will make a shift from biochemistry by the time you graduate from school. It's just a phase in life - happened to me too!
