Which career Field is better?

Which is a better way to start your career in Business Analytic field- a job at an established company or at a fast-growing company?

• I will be starting my career from scratch. So would it be better for me to start from a smaller company, where I would get more space to expand and more responsibilities and would be able to familiarize with different aspects of the job, or should I start from a well-established company, where I would be narrowed to one department but then again, the "name" of the company might help me with my future education?

• Answer:

  Depends on what your long term aspirations are. Most of the big analytics companies are into reporting analytics and learning wise things might be limited (you need to be in the right team) to get the right job. Instead you should look at comparatively small analytics companies (small in terms of number of employees only and not pay) which do specialised analytics. Learning there might help you grow faster.
