How to turn screen on during partial wake lock?

Is there a way to bypass the requirement for a lock screen passcode when you use some private networks on iOS?

  • The system administrator of an 802.1x, Microsoft Exchange, or other VPN can require that you set a lock-screen passcode on your iOS device in order to access the network. This manifests itself as the Passcode Lock option in the iOS setup set to "On" and greyed out so that you can't turn it off, as long as you have the private network set up. On my Android device (a non-jailbroken Android 4.0 phone), this policy is also in place, but the OS lets me just ignore it. (It tells me I have to set a lock-screen password the first time I connect to the private network, and then I just hit "Cancel" and it still works.) How can I make this happen on iOS, too? Yes, I realize this is getting around the intention of the system administrators. But I *$^!@#~!* hate the lock-screen passcode on my iPad and I don't want it there. See, e.g. all these other people wanting an answer to this as well. https://www.google.com/search?q=iphone+can%27t+turn+off+passcode+lock
