Phone purchase online - how could I know if a business is safe?

As yet, I do not have a cell phone and I'm contemplating a purchase and need help in the selection process. Which type of mobile phone should I go with? An Apple product? Blackberry? Android? I just don't know? Help?

  • To clarify, I did once own a cell phone it was called the Blackberry Storm - piece of crap! The touch screen never worked properly and I couldn't get any warranty satisfaction. That was a few years ago so I decided to ditch the technology and go with a land line; less accessible and intrusive, but more private and I didn't have to take or send text !messages and was happy about that. Now I'm over my hissy-fit with cell phones and best get back to the real world whatever that is. Thanks

  • Answer:

Well, to start with, I would prefer for Android phones. Simpler, easy to operate, user friendly, and its market place is huge. Further it doesn't need any specific Internet service, much unlike BB and Apple. You could easily use it with normal operator internet plans. I won't suggest Windows phone, as it has more flaws and its market is small. But, if your friends/colleague circle is flooded with BBs and iPhones, then you should opt for those. They make communication much more fun, but will make a dent on your phone bill.
